The Learning Commons welcomes pitches that make learning, teaching or creative practice easier to understand. Send proposals through the Contact page; please do not send a full draft unless it has been requested.
What we welcome
We are interested in clear, practical pieces about learning habits, teaching, technology, creative work and study spaces. A strong contribution offers readers a specific idea they can adapt, explains its limits and avoids presenting personal preference as a universal rule.
A useful pitch
Tell us the working subject, the reader it is for, the central point and why it deserves an article. A few sentences are enough to start. Mention relevant sources or experience that shape the idea, without assuming that a pitch guarantees publication.
Voice and standards
Write plainly and respectfully. Avoid unsupported claims, promotional copy and advice that requires specialist professional judgment. Contributions should be original, carefully checked and clear about any financial or other interest related to the subject.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option for a pitch. Include a way for us to reply. The publication may edit accepted work for clarity and length, and will discuss substantial changes with its contributor.
